The Limitless Leader knows that it can be a lonely journey but one is never alone.

As the Limitless Leader has to bare the burden of the consequences her decisions and that can be lonely. She also understands she must rely on the power of her team to get the best insights, meaning she is not alone. On this journey, the Limitless Leader must attempt to be surrounded with the best advisors.

What type of advisors can help make the best decision?

Adam Grant in his book Think Again shared this term: Disagreeable Givers. This term has really resonated with him since on my journey, I was blessed to be surrounded with these teammates. I also believe I operated as a Disagreeable Giver when I followed my Limitless Leaders.

How does one surround oneself with Disagreeable Givers?

I have discovered so far in my journey these 5 elements.

  1. Ensure you have a shared aligned commitment with the team.
  2. Eliminate Relationships related conflicts.
  3. Instill a culture of debate. Seek different point of views.
  4. Establish a process for conflict resolution.
  5. Create a safe environment for disagreement.

If interesting, please like. If valuable, please share.

Mahalo for being part of the Journey!!!
