Back in January 2021, the Dalai Lama shared with students (age 11 - 14) of British School in India on a Facebook Live that Buddha counselled his followers in this manner:

As Limitless Leaders we are often called to trust our teammates. In creating meaningful relationships, the element of Trust is essential in leading a functional team. But we should heed Buddha’s counsel.

And to further this advice, here are the words of Epictetus:

“First off, don’t let the force of the impression carry you away. Say to it, ‘hold up a bit and let me see who you are and where you are from—let me put you to the test’ . . .” 

So the Limitless Leader will indeed TRUST but as counseled by Buddha, Epictetus and a Russian proverb, VERIFY.
