It was reported that the source of this crisis began in China. The disease spread westward. On its path, it took the lives of as many as 2000 humans per day. In addition, it created scarcity of food causing steep price increases. The shortage of workforce led to higher wages as well this pandemic created profound disruptions in domestic and international trade.

If you read the above, you probably thought of our current pandemic Covid-19. However, the events described above refer to the Antonine Plague of 165 CE.

The Limitless Leader looks to history when confronted with strategic decision making. Most often the history of past events will provide insights in what to do, what not to do and what to look for. And when you combine with the learnings of today, the Limitless Leader can fashion a set of principle to help decide efficiently.

As we are coming out of this current crisis, the Limitless Leaders must remember to lead with humanity as their guiding light. They must remember to forego evil, selfishness, pride, hypocrisy and fear as they attack the challenges coming their way.
