I am telling you these Limitless Leaders are the Ultimate.

They often work behind the scenes yet step up to lead during the moments we call crunch times.

Simon Sinek says Leaders eat Last, these Leaders will forego their meals to ensure their followers get fed properly first.

Throughout history, it has been reported these leaders possess a sixth sense, an instinct to protect. 

Some even have been witnessed to their strength growing 100 fold in a moment of extreme crisis.

Sleep is not something in their vocabulary as their senses appear to be ‘on’ 24/7.

Their listening skills are amongst their sharpest competencies. 

They have not been known to seek recognition, often placing the needs of their teammates ahead of theirs.

They are the Protectors.

They are the Ultimate Servant Leaders. 

They have been celebrated for many centuries and yet remain unsung.

Who are these Ultimate Limitless Leaders?

We have all celebrated them yesterday, MOTHERS.

I have been blessed with an outstanding mom, a terrific mother-in-law and a prodigious life partner, the mother of our children.

Although Mother’s Day was set in 1907 by Anna Jarvis in the US and later proclaimed a national holiday in 1914 by President Woodrow Wilson. Mothers have been celebrated centuries before that with a special day. However, today I would like to share that mothers should be celebrated everyday.

As Jared Mauldin eloquently stated in his opened letter that women cannot be his equal because they have endured more than him. Here is an excerpt:

“I did not, for example, grow up in a world that discouraged me from focusing on hard science.
Nor did I live in a society that told me not to get dirty, or said I was bossy for exhibiting leadership skills.
In grade school I never had to fear being rejected by my peers because of my interests.
I was not bombarded by images and slogans telling me that my true worth was in how I look, and that I should abstain from certain activities because I might be thought too masculine.
I was not overlooked by teachers who assumed that the reason I did not understand a tough math or science concept was, after all, because of my gender.
I have had no difficulty whatsoever with the boys club mentality, and I will not face added scrutiny or remarks of my being the “diversity hire”. 
When I experience success the assumption of others will be that I earned it.
So, you and I cannot be equal. You have already conquered far more to be in this field than I will ever face.”

And yet despite the challenges he highlighted, Mothers are women who consistently demonstrate the 2nd Principle of Limitless Leaders being a Servant Leader.

So I offer you this this thought, let’s continue to celebrate women and mothers everyday. Let’s recognize the differences that enable humanity to reach its Limitless Self. Let’s teach our boys to understand and appreciate rather than differentiate and depreciate. Let’s learn from the greather strengths and get inspired to serve humanity.
