I have been fascinated by the concept of leadership. It started in Grade 8 when I decided to enter the election for the President of my high school. It was a smaller school with 2 Grades (Grade 7 and 8), with about 400 students. I don’t remember exactly why I decided to run, however I remember the Team I had assembled to run my campaign against 2 other candidates.

I learned very quickly about the importance of building relationships, surrounding one self with people much more talented than one self and being clear on one’s vision. Here I was, at 13 years old an immigrant kid, running for president in a school with mostly white students. The odds were not stacked up for our team to win but we prevailed. I was elected president of my high school. How I won is the not the important part here. But that was the year, I became fascinated with Leadership and found out I was not great at it.

So I went on to study what great leadership was and the lesson continues to this day. Sure there are some principles, laws of leadership shared by mentors such as John Maxwell. After 40 years since that election win, I continue to grow into the best leader I can be. I have come to conclude 5 years ago that this Leadership Journey is Infinite; that the learning one can have is Limitless. That is why I chose to name the journey I am on as the Limitlless Leader Journey. The growth is personal to each of us who decide to embrace the mantle of leadership, because the responsibilty is available to anyone of us.

However, I have always liked to have things well defined. I asked myself if someone were to question me on what is a Limitless Leader, how would I answer. I came up with the 3 most important things I have learned so from the Prodigious Leaders I have had a chance to learn from and some I have been blessed to follow. So here it is.

The Limitless leades is:

A Leader that delivers Impactful Results

A Leader that elevates those who surrounds them

A Leader that leaves what they touched/received better than when saw/received it. A business, a relationship, an environment etc.
